WBC Australasia has two championship categories – the WBC Australasia Gold Belt for seasoned boxers and the Australasia Silver Belt for developing rising stars.

The United Nations recognises the geographic region of Australasia as follows:

• Continental Australia (the six Australian States and two Territories)
• New Zealand (North and South Islands)
• Papua New Guinea (east of Indonesia)
• Melanesian/Polynesian islands that include Vanuatu, The Solomon Islands, Fiji, Tonga and Samoa.
